PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method which enables an easy manufacture of a master model for a mold having a complicated shape while laminating integrally a plurality of sheet-like or plate-like laminating materials. SOLUTION: When the master model for the mold 11 is molded while a plurality of sheets of paper having a predetermined thickness is integrally laminated as the laminating material 10, a concave groove 12 of a predetermined shape is formed in a laminating direction of the laminating material 10 or in a direction intersecting with the laminating direction. As shown in Fig.1(a), at least one or more section lines G which are previously splittable are formed in the central portion of an unnecessary shape article 13 in cutting in a groove-like form. As shown in Fig.1(b), a cut piece Ga in which the central section line G is entered is first pulled out upward from the concave groove 12, thereafter, the unnecessary shape articles 13a, 13b of both sides are sequentially slid closer to the center side in a space portion S from which the cut piece Ga is pulled out, and as shown in Fig.1(c), the unnecessary shape articles 13a, 13b are sequentially pulled out upward to form the concave groove 12.
