PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery residual quantity determination device capable of accurately determining the residual quantity state in response to the operation state of a battery. SOLUTION: This battery residual quantity determination device includes a voltage detecting means for detecting the output voltage of the battery, a current detecting means for detecting the output current of the battery, a temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature of the battery, a memory for storing data in which a threshold is stored in response to the current value and temperature value, and a control section for outputting a detection signal showing that the battery residual quantity is smaller than the residual quantity value corresponding to the threshold when the output current value detected by each of the current detecting means and temperature detecting means and the threshold stored in the data for the detected temperature is larger than the output voltage detected by the voltage detecting means.
