PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording tape cartridge in which a leader pin can be made not to be slipped out from a holding part during non-use and reduction of a manufacturing cost can be attained. SOLUTION: The recording tape cartridge has a leader pin 30 which is attached to an end part of a recording tape T and in which flange parts 36 are formed at both ends, holding parts 40 formed at an upper case 14 and a lower case 16 and holding the flange parts 36 of the leader pin 30 in the vicinity of an opening 18, an overhang part 44 formed at the holding part 40 and overlapping on the flange parts 36 at an inner plane 36B side of the flange part 36 and a claw part 44B formed at the overhang part 44 and making the leader pin 30 going-in and going-out by its elastic deformation.
