PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe device eliminating the influence of inclination of a transmitting/receiving element due to oscillation of a ship, while maintaining the advantages of a simple structure and of low cost, and with improved accuracy and precision. SOLUTION: This ultrasonic probe device comprises a transmission part TX which transmits an ultrasonic signal, a receiving part, equipped with a plurality of receiving elements for receiving reflected waves of the transmitted ultrasonic signal by an object and outputting a receiving signal, an azimuth detecting part which detects the azimuth of the object from the arrangement of the plurality of receiving elements and the phase difference of the received signal output from each receiving element; a distance-reflected intensity detecting part which detects the distance and reflected intensity of the object from the appearance time and amplitude of the received signal; and a display processing part which displays on a screen as displaying data the detected azimuth, distance, and reflected intensity.
