PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-efficiency and inexpensive commutator motor. SOLUTION: This commutator motor 100 includes: a field magnet 40 of which a field core 20 is furnished with a field winding 3; an armature 30, disposed inside the field core 20, of which an armature winding 6 is provided in the slots 5a of an armature core 5; a commutator connected with the armature winding 6; a brush for supplying power in contact with the commutator; and an output shaft 7 in the center of the armature core 5. The field core 20 is divided into a field teeth portion 1 and a filed yoke portion 2. The field teeth portion 1 and the armature core 5 are made of the same material, while the field yoke portion 2 is made of a material different from that of the field teeth portion 1 and the armature core 5.
