<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately set an initial driving condition in selecting a shift position associated with a plurality of driving conditions and allowing a driver to select arbitrary driving condition among the plurality of driving conditions. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle 20 sets a tentative first stage SPitmp corresponding to a vehicle velocity V when a driver switches from a D position to an S position (Step S120). If a first stage correction value ΔSPi based on a road surface slope θ and an output limit Wout of a battery 50 is equivalent to a value 0, sets the first stage SPitmp to an actual shift position SP* as it is, and if the first stage correction value ΔSPi is other than the value 0, sets a virtual shift position based on the first stage SPitmp and the correction value ΔSPi as the actual sift position SP* (Step S140). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
