PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor capable of improving deterioration in the capacitance and increase in ESR, even at higher temperatures. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a solid electrolytic capacitor, that forms a dielectric oxide film on a positive side and having a cacitor element where a conductive macromolecular layer is formed, includes a step for mixing a metal alkoxybenzenesulfonate, a metal alkoxytetralin sulphonate, and a metal alkoxynaphthalate serving as oxidizing agents and dopants, as well as, a conductive macromolecular material in a solvent; and a step for forming a conductive macromolecular layer in the capacitor element, by dipping the capacitor element in the mixed solvent and with thermal polymerization.
