PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate adjacent magnetic coils and to facilitate the assembly of constituent components in a magnetostrictive torque sensor. SOLUTION: A measurement unit 200 of the torque sensor comprises a cylindrical magnetic head 210, an outer circumferential bobbin 211, and an inner circumferential bobbin 213. The magnetic head 210 comprises a cylindrical yoke joint 240 and annular first and second yoke parts 220a and 220b fitted into its opening. Two magnetic cores are constituted of soft magnetic parts 232a1, 232a2, 232b1, 232b2, 252a, 252b of the yoke connection part 240 and the first and second yoke parts 220a and 220b.
