<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a certain change in displayed images while controlling the position and direction of the character and the position and direction of a virtual camera by an intuitive operation by a player. <P>SOLUTION: When the direction is changed while keeping as intact the position of a character card 20a placed on a card distribution panel 13, the direction of the character 200a is also changed with the change in the direction of the character card 20a if the change in the direction is done below a fixed speed and the visual point 303 of the virtual camera constantly getting the axis of vision aimed at the character 200a is encircled to match the change in the direction of the character 200a. On the other hand, if the change in the direction of the character card 20a is done above the fixed speed, the visual point 303 alone is encircled but no change is caused in the direction of the character 200a. When the position of the character card 20a is moved on the card distribution panel 13, the character 200a faces the ongoing direction regardless of the direction of the character card 20a and moves with the position of the character card 20a wherever it may move. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
