<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizon finder, which accurately determines whether a term being set for speculating profits or losses in terms of middle and long terms in an optimization calculation for raising a fund with a determined time period may bring a reasonable result. <P>SOLUTION: The horizon finder includes a feature for adding an additional period to the time period being set for speculation, and executes the steps comprising: (1) calculating an optimal schedule for raising the fund during a given conditional term plus an additional term with condition of a first term for scheduling to raise the fund as a given condition when the optimization calculation for raising the fund is executed and calculating a minimum rate for interests; (2) calculating the optimal schedule for raising the fund during the given conditional time period plus the additional time period by applying no restriction to the first time period for scheduling to raise the fund and calculating the minimum interest rate to be paid; and (3) displaying a message to indicate the given conditional time period as an effective time period if a difference value between interest figures for (1) and (2) becomes below a criterion value when they are compared. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
