<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smaller connector of which shielding between two connectors, connecting two substrates, is sufficiently attained. <P>SOLUTION: A receptacle side engagement part 32 which engages with a plug side engagement part 142 of a plug connector 12 is formed at a receptacle side housing 3 that is arranged on a printed board 21. A plurality of receptacle side contacts 5 are arranged at a receptacle side engagement part 32. A shell body 71 arranged around the receptacle side engagement part 32 is provided to a shell 7 that is attached to the receptacle side housing 3.
