摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonization apparatus which can improve decomposition efficiency, when treatment materials containing polymeric materials are thermally decomposed. <P>SOLUTION: The rotation power of a driving motor 13 is transmitted to a hollow shaft portion 10 through gears 12, 14, and a thermally decomposing oven 3 is rotated and simultaneously heated together with the hollow shaft portion 10 through bearings 7 and 11. The treatment materials 50 received in the thermally decomposing oven 3 are stirred with stirring plates 9 projected from the inner peripheral surface of the thermally decomposing oven 3 and simultaneously heated. Herein, a proper rotation movement is added to the treatment materials 50 with the stirring plates 9 in the thermally decomposing oven 3. When the thermal decomposition proceeds as such, the treatment materials 50 are gradually crushed by the impacts of the rotation movement. Consequently, the heat transfer areas of the treatment materials 50 are expanded to enhance the efficiency of the thermal decomposition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
