The hydraulic elevator uses for the ascent and descent of the cabin a specially-shaped piston-cylinder provided with a main pressure chamber 4 supplied with mineral oil by the power unit 7 of the elevator. The suitable supply and pressure of the mineral oil from the pump 18 of the same power unit 7 create the required conditions for the ascent or descent of the piston 2 wherefrom the cabin is suspended with the assistance of varying arrangements. The specially-shaped piston-cylinder has insidean auxiliary pressure chamber 3 communicating with a power accumulator 6 and ensures through the suitable structural arrangement the tightness of the auxiliary pressure chamber 3 in relationship to the main pressure chamber 4. The aforementioned arrangement accommodates -via the suitable selection of dimensions and pressures exerted on the above defined areas, during the descending movement of the cabin and thereby of the piston 2 -the storage of the power (in the form of pressure setup) into the power accumulator 6; the thus stored power is given back during the ascending movement of the piston 2. |
