#CMT# #/CMT# The installation has a down cable (1) partially rolled on rims of two side cable wheels (3, 5) and partially rolled on a rim of a middle cable wheel (4). The cable is provided with central blocks (2). A brake mechanism brakes the movement of the cable. The middle cable wheel is arranged between the side cable wheels, and the cable is engaged with the wheels. The wheels are mounted on parallel horizontal shafts, respectively, and the side wheels are coupled with one another by a movement transmission. One of the side wheels is coupled to the mechanism by another movement transmission. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Installation for evacuating occupants from a building e.g. dwelling premises, during emergency e.g. disaster such as fire generation, through windows and other surface openings, when common outlet ways such as lift and stairway are unworkable, and for being fixed on a surface of a building. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The down cable is partially rolled on the rims of the side cable wheels and partially rolled on the rim of the middle cable wheel, thus increasing angular value of rolling of the cable on the wheels, so that the blocks of the cable are simultaneously set in each wheel, so as to increase the reliability of the installation, while maintaining the safety of the cable on the wheels. The blocks form projections on the cable, thus authorizing better hand grip, and hence permitting setting of hooks on the cable in an easy manner. The configuration of the device permits to receive occupants simultaneously, so as to evacuate the occupants in a rapid manner.
