<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the gate potential of a drive transistor to a reference voltage without writing the reference voltage from a signal line through a write transistor. <P>SOLUTION: In an organic EL display device 10 employing a pixel configuration having two irreducible necessary transistors which are a drive transistor 22 and a write transistor 23, reference voltage supply lines 32 (32-1 to 32-m) are wired by pixel rows of a pixel array section 30 and electrically connected to the gate electrode of the drive transistor 22 in pixel units, and a reference voltage supply scanning circuit 50 which selectively supplies an offset voltage Vofs as a reference voltage to the reference voltage supply lines 32 is provided to set the gate potential Vg of the drive transistor 22 to the offset voltage Vofs from the reference voltage supply circuit 50 through the reference voltage supply line 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
