<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operating sound from occurring by shortening, miniaturizing the axial length in a connected state of a reduction mechanism and an electric motor, facilitating the coaxial control, and increasing the concentricity in a disk brake for a vehicle, storing the reduction mechanism disposed coaxially with a motor shaft in a caliper body on which a motor case of the electric motor having a motor shaft is attached. <P>SOLUTION: The motor case 56 has a yoke having an end wall to rotatably support one end of the motor shaft 60 via a first bearing, and formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape, and a lid plate 59 to rotatably support the other end side of the motor shaft 60 via a second bearing 64, and attached to the other end of the yoke. A positioning part 153 is installed in the lid plate 59 to coaxially position at least one stationary member 146 constituting a portion of the reduction mechanism 45 to the second bearing 64.
