PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform communication by shielding arbitrary information at an IPv6.
SOLUTION: An inherent ID for specifying a user and a terminal is encrypted with a public key of a communication destination that desires to acquire the inherent ID and is stored in an interface ID of an IPv6 address. The encrypted inherent ID is set as an interface ID at an IP address with which the terminal communicates. The communication destination extracts the inherent ID from a transmission origin address of a packet with which the terminal communicates using a secret key. Hereby, the user and the terminal are specified from the IP address. The interface ID that shields the inherent ID is merely regarded as a meaningless random figure as viewed from a person not having the secret key of an inherent ID acquisition destination, making it impossible to extract the inherent ID. This ensures safe notification of the inherent ID.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
