<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sound collection by sufficiently suppressing echo caused by acoustic system coupling between a microphone and a speaker. <P>SOLUTION: At a conversion section 100, a signal obtained by subtracting an output signal of a linear echo canceller 3 from an output signal of a microphone 1 or from an output signal of a speaker 2 by a subtractor 4 is inputted as a first signal and the output signal of the linear echo canceller 3 is inputted as a second signal. Furthermore, a sound detecting signal of a sound detection section 5 detecting presence/absence of near-end sound is inputted and for each frequency component of the first and second signals, an estimate for the condition of leaking echo from the first signal and the second signal is calculated. On the basis of the calculated estimate, the first signal is corrected, such that a near-end signal canceling echo from the first signal is generated and outputted to an output terminal 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
