<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent deterioration and damage of low strength coating material of a lengthy body as a support object, or deterioration and damage of low strength continuous length body as a support object. <P>SOLUTION: A lengthy body support is provided with an attachment means 5 detachably attaching a support main body 3 on a fixing part 2 on the support main body 3 provided with a main body side receiving part 4 receiving and supporting a continuous length body 1 in a lying down posture. An auxiliary receiving member 16 of which receiving length of the continuous length body 1 in a longitudinal direction is longer than that of the main body receiving part 4 is overlapped and attached on the main body receiving part 4.
