The method for treating herpetic stomatitis of medium and severe degree, according to the invention, consists in that the mucous membrane of the oral cavity is treated with 0.9% ozonized NaCl solution, containing 4...5 mg/l of ozone, during 3...5 min, then the oral cavity is rinsed with furacin solution during 2...4 min, afterwards on the affected sectors of the oral cavity mucous membrane is applied Lidochlor gel, and in 3...5 min on the same sectors is applied 0.1% BioR gel, the procedure is carried out 4...8 times a day, at the same time it is concomitantly administered 500 mg of Valtrex, 2 times a day, per os and 1 ml of 0.5% BioR solution, intramuscularly, 2 times a day the first 5 days, and in the following once a day, the course of treatment being of 7...10 days.
