A patient bed is provided to have a function to life up the patient by mounting an elevation sheet which is mounted on the top of the mattress so as to stand the mattress and the elevation sheet as fixed angle at the same time. The elevation sheet(300) includes a border frame(310) combining the central part of the either side with the mutual hinge(320), a mesh(330) installed at the inner side of the border frame, and a holder for maintaining the border frame of both sides horizontally. An elevating unit is comprised of an elevating shaft, the first and the second pinion, a fear box, a shaft, a power transmitter, and a worm reducer. The elevating shaft is combined in the each edge of the border frame. The first and the second pinion are engaged in the rack with the reciprocity vertically. The pinions are interconnected in shaft. The worm reducer delivers the torque.
