<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to facilitate paper jam processing by an operator, an image forming method, an image forming program, and a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, when a paper jam occurs in the apparatus, the apparatus is stopped, the position of a jammed paper is displayed on a first display means and when it is detected that the jammed paper is removed, all remaining paper positions are displayed on a second display means. Thus, when the jam occurs again by the remaining paper discharge operation of the apparatus itself, the fact is promptly informed to an operator and the number of jammed papers required to be manually removed by the operator is made minimum, so that labor spent on the paper jam processing of the operator can be drastically reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
