PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a bead core 12 at a prescribed position with high precision. SOLUTION: After a part of a plurality of disc-shaped positioning members 38 are pushed in the bead part 13 of an unvulcanized tire 11 so as to be separated circumferentially, the unvulcanized tire 11 is housed in a vulcanizing mold in a hermetically closed state. When it is then vulcanized, the whole remaining parts of the positioning members 38 are pushed in the bead part 13 to come into contact with the bead core 12 through a carcass layer 18. As a result, if the bead core 12 is positionally shifted by pushing in the positioning members 38, the position of the bead core 12 is corrected to the prescribed position.
