PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ignition of an electrolyte vaporized and blown off when flame exists, regarding a lithium ion secondary battery pack. SOLUTION: The lithium ion secondary battery pack is equipped with two or more cells 20 having an electrolyte in the inside of a sealed case; a solenoid valve installed in each cell of two or more cells 20 and changing over a communication state between the inside and outside of the cells 20; a casing 12 housing two or more cells in their inner spaces; a flame detecting means 30 detecting a flame inside the casing 12 or inside a prescribed region including the casing 12; and a control means 40 operating the solenoid valve so as to communicate the inside with the outside of the cells 20 when the flame is detected with the flame detecting means 30.
