PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by improving mass productivity of a rotor for a rotary electric machine. SOLUTION: An outer rotor 13 of a rotary electric machine M is structured by dividing it into first flange members 32 of a disk shape, a second flange members 33, a plurality of rod-like connecting members 34 which connect the outside peripheral portions of the first and second flange members 31, 32 and by connecting them with bolts 37. Because first and second inductive magnetic poles 39L, 39R are supported between adjacent connecting members 34, production cost can be reduced by simplifying the shapes of the first flange member 32, the second flange member 33, and the connecting members 34. Furthermore, because the first and second inductive magnetic poles 39L, 39R are supported between adjacent connecting members 34, the support can be made easy and sure. Because rings 40 of a weak magnetic material are arranged on the outside peripheral portion of the connecting members 34, the deformation of the connecting members 34 can be suppressed by supporting the centrifugal force acting on the connecting members 34 as the outer rotor 13 rotates with the rings 40.
