PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque converter cover having a pilot, easy in manufacture, excellent in cost efficiency, and capable of properly aligning a torque converter with a flex plate still in installation. SOLUTION: The torque converter is provided with a cover 100 having a central longitudinal axis and an outer surface, and is provided with the pilot 102 stamped from metal. The pilot 102 has a longitudinal axis 116 on the same line as the axis for the cover 100, and a disc at least partially radially aligned with the axis for the cover 100.
