<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reliable performance and improvement in operability of each lock mechanism in a bed with casters with the lock mechanisms. <P>SOLUTION: The casters 4 with the lock mechanisms are arranged at four corners of a bed frame, and the rotary cams of the left and right lock mechanisms are combined by a rotary shaft 9 and rotated coaxially, and moreover, the front and rear lock mechanisms, which is one of the left and the right, are link-coupled via a ratchet gear device and an interlocking lever 18. Operation arms 12 are pivotally supported in the front side of the frame so as to be rotated coaxially with the rotary shaft, ratchet gears 15 are fixed in the rotary shaft, and claws 16 energized by a spring toward ratchets are pivotally supported in the operation arms. The rotary cams can be stepped by rotation of the operation arms by a prescribed angle from an initial position, and the operation arms are energized by the spring and returned to the initial position. Thus, the lock and release of the lock mechanisms can be repeated at each operation, and the operation can be simplified without inconvenience. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
