PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a synchronizer ring capable of reducing waste of material, by efficiently handling the material in punching. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the synchronizer ring comprises a process of forming a first intermediate raw material having a belt-like body part and a plurality of tongue-shaped parts mutually projecting at an interval from the outer peripheral edge of this body part by punching a metallic plate, a process of forming a second intermediate raw material by plastically processing the first intermediate raw material in a cylindrical shape, and a process of forming a cylindrical third intermediate raw material by butting and welding both ends of the second intermediate raw material.
