PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display images following a wallpaper image among a series of consecutive images on an upper layer than the lowest layer of a display screen more easily.

SOLUTION: A display system includes an image data storage section 41 having a plurality of image data stored therein in sequence; a wallpaper image setting section 42 for displaying the wallpaper image on the display screen based on one of the stored images; a browsing image setting section 43 for successively displaying images based on the stored image data on the upper layer than the lowest layer of the display screen according to the sequence; a start trigger detection section 51 for detecting a start trigger; and a display control section 45 for displaying the image based on the image data corresponding to the image being displayed as the wallpaper image, using the browsing image setting section 43, and for displaying the images following the image in order, using the browsing image setting section 43, when the start trigger is detected.
