<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic recording system for recording the same program as a program viewed by an mobile apparatus or a program of a similar title by a recorder connected through a data communication network. <P>SOLUTION: When a TV program is viewed by the mobile apparatus 1, the program information and area setting information of the program viewed by the mobile apparatus 1 are transmitted to the recorder 2 (S153).
