PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus facilitating operation setting by referring to operation setting information of one user to be disclosed to or available for the other user in the operation setting.

SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus is equipped with a control means 10 comprising: a means for authenticating the user; a means for reading the operation setting information registered by a user other than the authenticated user to register it as the operation setting information about the authenticated user; and a means for performing control so as to prohibit disclosure or registration of the operation setting information when operation information not to be disclosed to or unavailable for the authenticated user is included in the operation information registered by the user other than the authenticated user.
