摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying and quantifying necleobase in each of DNA and RNA included in a sample easily with high sensitivity, particularly a method for detecting variant DNA in a monobase polymorphic relationship to DNA with a target sequence, in an unlabeled manner with high sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: A working electrode having on the oxidation side a potential aperture for detecting oxidation based on guanine (G), adenine (A), cytosine (C), thymine (T) and uracil (U), a counter electrode and a reference electrode are inserted in a sample of an electrolyte solution containing DNA or RNA, and electric potential is applied to the working electrode to measure an electrolytic oxidation current of each nucleobase in the sample, thus detecting each nucleobase in DNA or RNA electrochemically. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
