<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which eliminates trouble such as toner clogging to easily occur at a coupling part or a bend part on a toner conveying path, without detaching the toner conveying path. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has: an image carrier for carrying a toner image; a transfer means for transferring the toner image formed on the image carrier to a transfer medium; a cleaning means for removing toner remaining on the image carrier or the transfer means after transfer; and a toner collecting and conveying means for conveying and collecting the toner removed by the cleaning means. The image forming apparatus has at least one aperture part and an opening/shutting means for opening/shutting the aperture part on the conveying path of the toner collecting and conveying means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
