<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device, though being a compact one where a long-length developer storage part is provided at the upper part of a developer charging part and developer layer forming part, which can perform stable replenishment of a developer to the charging part and layer forming part and can perform satisfactory developing operation. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 6 includes a developer carrier 15, a developer supply member 16 for supplying the developer to the developer carrier 15, and the developer storage part 18 positioned above the developer supply member 16 and having a rotatable stirrer 19 for stirring the developer inside thereof. A delivery port 21 for dropping and delivering the developer is provided in the developer storage part 18 on a position shifted to a direction separated from the developer carrier 15 compared to the rotary locus lowermost point position of the stirrer 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
