<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a color filter for a liquid crystal display device, the method dispensing with a photo-etching process of forming an electrode slit for alignment control provided in the color filter and omitting one process, as a manufacturing method of the color filter having the electrode slit for alignment control, and to provide the color filter having the inexpensive electrode slit, for liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: at least a step (1) of forming a colored pixel 52 having a slit S of reverse-tapered cross-section shape on a position on which the electrode slit 55 is formed, on a glass substrate 50; and a step (2) of forming a transparent conductive film 53 on the whole surface of the glass substrate to cause the slit to serve as the electrode slit. Flat plane shape of the slit is circular, rectangular or linear. Width or diameter of the slit is 0.1 μm to 10 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
