PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving body information collection device capable of irradiating an electromagnetic wave to a reflection section arranged on the surface of a moving body in order to display specific moving body information and reading the moving body information while detecting the reflected wave surely and effectively.

SOLUTION: The moving body information collection device 100 comprises an electromagnetic wave output section 2 for outputting the electromagnetic wave to the moving body wherein a retro-reflection section R for reflecting the electromagnetic wave is arranged on its outer surface, a reflected wave detection section 3 for detecting the wave reflected by the retro-reflection section R, and an information acquisition means 10 for acquiring information of the moving body on the basis of the intensity of respective reflected waves detected by the reflected wave detection section 3.
