<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a viewer to view digital broadcasting after interruption while keeping use permission information depending on the viewer when digital broadcasting with the use permission information added, thereto is interrupted during viewing. <P>SOLUTION: A temporary recording and playback means 130 and a management section 121 which manages the lapse of time from the start of recording are provided to a digital broadcast recording and playback device.
