<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph which permits burden on a user to be made lower than previously when image collection is performed in a three-dimensional scan mode, and to provide its control method. <P>SOLUTION: At least one from among a plurality of correlating scanning conditions for a three-dimensional scanning mode is set or changed. On the basis of at least one set or changed scanning condition, another scanning condition from among the plurality of scanning conditions is chosen.
