PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-voltage connector for an X-ray tube allowing stable electric connection to a high-voltage cable without causing dielectric breakdown. SOLUTION: The high-voltage connector for an X-ray tube is configured such that, in a housing 11, a terminal of the high-voltage cable 12 is enclosed by an insulating fill material 13, and a vacuum envelope and a positive electrode end of an X-ray tube can be mounted in a vacuum envelope reception space 15 and a space 17 for the positive electrode of a high-voltage terminal 16 formed in an opening 14. A high-thermally conductive insulating member 18 thermally coupling the housing 11 to the high-voltage terminal 16 is arranged. The high-voltage terminal 16 and the high-thermally conductive insulating member 18 are enclosed in the housing 11 by the insulating fill material 13. Screw holes 19 used for fastening the X-ray tube to the high-voltage connector for an X-ray tube are formed on a flange part 11a. In the above structure, heat generated by the X-ray tube is easily transmitted to the housing 11 through the high-thermally conductive insulating member 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
