PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum brake device capable of effectively suppressing brake noise caused by coupling of two adjacent eigenvalues by a coefficient of friction between a drum and a shoe by changes of a structure and a shape without influencing other functions. SOLUTION: By changing rigidity of a brake drum mounting part 1a and that of a brake drum outer cylinder part 1b, a separation frequency between a vibration frequency eigenvalue in a radial direction and a vibration frequency eigenvalue in a slide direction are set large. By change of a shape suppressing flat film vibration of a back plate 2, a separation frequency between a vibration frequency eigenvalue in an outward direction of a surface of the brake back plate 2 and a vibration frequency eigenvalue in a radial direction of the brake drum 1 is set large.
