PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To introduce the minimal dimensions of a mold in consideration of deformation after molding, and to investigate the minimal groove cross-sectioned area which does not prevent circulation of a lubrication fluid, in a manufacturing method of a sleeve wherein a ferrous sintered material is used for a hydraulic fluid bearing unit. SOLUTION: The radially cross-sectioned area of a circulation port is 0.56 times or more of the radially cross-sectioned area obtained by adding a gap between a shaft and the sleeve, and a first hydrodynamic pressure generation groove. The radially cross-sectioned area of the circulation port is 5 times or less of the radially cross-sectioned area obtained by adding a gap between the shaft and sleeve, and the first hydrodynamic pressure generation groove.
