PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller type linear motion guide unit capable of exerting a high rigidity, high accuracy and high life performance, in which a roller is incorporated as a rolling element and a crowning length of a crowning part is formed long as a casing is formed long. SOLUTION: The entire length of a casing 3 is formed into a length corresponding to substantially four times the width of a track rail, and a crowning length Lc of crowning parts 10 formed at both ends 29 of a track face 22 formed on the casing 3 is formed into substantially four times the roller diameter. A crowning depth Hc is formed into a depth corresponding to an elastic deformation quantity of the roller and the track face generated to a slider 2 by a half of a basic static rated load.
