PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation plant capable of stable operation of an electric power plant, by effectively utilizing BOG. SOLUTION: This power generation plant comprises an LNG tank 6 storing LNG supplied from a tanker 1, a transfer pipe 8 transferring the BOG 5 generated in the LNG tank 6 to a BOG compressor 9, the BOG compressor 9 pressurizing and carrying the BOG 5 generated in the LNG tank 6, a pressurizing gas pipe 12 transferring pressurized gas 20, a boiler 13 generating high pressure steam 21 by burning the pressurized gas 20, a high pressure steam pipe 14 transferring the high pressure steam 21, a turbine 15 rotating a generator 16 by pressure of the high pressure steam 21, the generator 16 generating electric power by being rotated by the turbine 15, and a central control room (a control means) 18 setting operation mode information 19 of the generator 16 by cool-down information 11 for notifying the effect of starting cooling of a pipe of the LNG tank 6 and load state information 10 for detecting a load state by the BOG compressor 9.
