PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal container capable of hardening an internal face coating film and having excellent corrosion resistance without generating any bubbles on the surface of the internal face coating film when forming more hardened internal face coating film on the container body, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The metal container includes a bottomed cylindrical container body 17 and an internal face coating film 16 formed of a thermosetting resin having a thickness of 4-25μm by executing at least one cycle of the inner surface coating-drying process in which a resin coating is coated on an inner surface of the container body 17 and dried in one cycle.
