<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle, without requiring a complex process, a used elastomer member for an image forming apparatus, in a state of being close to the performance of a fresh product while its initial dimension accuracy is maintained. <P>SOLUTION: This invention relates to the recycling method for an image forming member which is used so as to be mounted in an image forming apparatus, and is used again by being recycled after use. The surface of the image forming member is formed from elastomer. When the image forming member is recycled, the surface of the image forming member is irradiated with a ultraviolet ray or ozone at least one time, without being subjected to a grinding process, so that deposition sticking to the surface during the use of the member is removed by causing decomposition or/deterioration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
