<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and an application construction method capable of simplifying the customizing, extension or the like of a function. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device has one or more input sections inputting data to be image-processed and one or more of output sections outputting the result of an image processing. The image forming device further has a filter controlling the input processing of the data from the input sections in response to the input sections and a filter controlling outputs to the output sections in response to the output sections, and constructs an application by connecting the filters, the filters being connected by a transmission means transmitting the data between the filters, and the device has a decision means deciding the transmission means capable of connecting the filters on the basis of information indicating the transmission means usable by the filter contained in each of the filters. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
