<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal decomposition system which enables the thermal decomposition of sludge without using an auxiliary fuel by mixing waste plastic when the sludge is carbonized by the thermal decomposition. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal decomposition system where sewage sludge 11 and waste plastic 12 are mixed and then thermally decomposed by heating with a thermal decomposer 13 in a low oxygen environment to obtain thermally decomposed gas 15 and a carbonized material 14, a mixing ratio of the waste plastic 12 to the sewage sludge 11 is set by the thermally decomposed gas 15 generated by the above thermal decomposition to be equal to or larger than a minimum proper ratio capable of generating an amount of a thermally decomposed gas required for thermally decomposing the sewage sludge 11 without using the auxiliary fuel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
