<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reboot an information providing part, which provides information to a portable device, without adding a communication line. <P>SOLUTION: In this electronic device 100 to/from which the portable device 10 can be attached/detached and which comprises the information providing part 200 to provide information to the portable device 10, control information is transmitted/received to/from the portable device 10 through a first communication line L1.
