<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a cautious guidance guides a user to take out a cup of popcorn after waiting for a while in taking out the cup of cooked popcorn since the cup just after cooking has a high temperature, but the cautious guidance provided through a monitor screen and a speaker is not a perfect measure. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic vending machine is provided with a monitor 6 and operation means 7, 9. This machine comprises an article taking out means for taking out an article a user has selected, a heat cooking means for heat-cooking the article taken out by the article taking out means, a conveying means for conveying the article heat-cooked by heat cooking means to a take-out port 5, a cooling means for cooling the heat-cooked article, and a video game. In the video game, several kinds of video pictures to be shown on the monitor are prepared in advance. Based on an operation timing of the operation means, one of several kinds of video pictures prepared in advance is selected and shown on the monitor 6, and video pictures are changed in accordance with operations of the operation means performed thereafter.
