PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus easily suppressing increase in input current to a power source part regardless of phase angle lighting control for a fixing heater by a heater control part.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus A is provided with the heater control part 4 receiving power supply from an AC power source 1 and carrying out "on/off" control for the fixing heater 3 and a power source part 5 supplying specified power to one part or two or more parts excluding the heater 3. The control part 4 carries out "on" control for the heater 3 by phase angle control and the power source part 5 contains an active filter circuit 51. The filter circuit 51 is the circuit correcting power ratio regarding the input current to the power source part 5 based on the heater phase control angle in a direction suppressing the input current to the power source part 5.
